I am meeting two friends before a small show, but the sidewalk by the entrance is narrow and one friend is always late. Would you pick a nearby corner first, or wait by the door so nobody misses the group?
Four of us want to visit a small exhibition downtown, but two people will probably be twenty minutes late. I do not want the first pair to stand in the doorway waiting. Is it more polite to go in and meet the others outside when they arrive?
