Which cupboard, switch or tap do you always check in a Jounieh rental?

The flat is affordable enough that I do not want excitement to replace inspection. I can inspect in daylight. Still, the corridor may sound different with the door closed. A fresh coat of paint makes the room look tidy but says nothing about old leaks.
