Soft tyre or loose seat: when do you reject a shared bike in Toronto?

I carry no tools and do not want to fix someone else’s damaged chain. The app lists several bikes. Because of that, rejecting one would not leave me stranded. A brief wheel spin might reveal rubbing that is hard to notice while parked.
