Would you cancel the unlock if the rear tyre feels soft in Pokhara?

One loose basket is annoying; uncertain brakes are a different decision. I carry no tools and do not want to fix someone else’s damaged chain. The last bike felt fine at the rack and developed a soft rear tyre on the first hill.
