What do regular riders test before leaving a shared-bike rack in Pattaya?

A minute at the rack feels cheap compared with walking a broken bike back. I carry no tools and do not want to fix someone else’s damaged chain. I know how to squeeze a tyre. Still, I am less certain about checking an adjustable seat.
