Which cupboard, switch or tap do you always check in a Sharjah rental?

The agent has warned that a second viewing starts immediately after mine. The kitchen window opens onto a narrow space and I can't judge the airflow online. A fresh coat of paint makes the room look tidy but says nothing about old leaks.
