Bedroom beside a shared corridor in Jalal-Abad — what should I listen for?

I can inspect in daylight, but the corridor may sound different with the door closed. The kitchen window opens onto a narrow space and I can't judge the airflow online. The bathroom cabinet is the first place I plan to look for hidden damp.
