The conversation is informal. Still, it does need a corner away from the doorway. I can give the cafe an exact time and expected length of stay. I'd happily choose a quieter hour if the cafe suggests one.
Calling ahead may be sensible, but I would like to know which question matters. The appointment is early enough that the building doors may open at the same time. I do not want the administrative part to use half of the booked consultation.
I carry no tools and do not want to fix someone else’s damaged chain. I know how to squeeze a tyre, but I am less certain about checking an adjustable seat. I want the safety check finished before tapping the final unlock button.
I have met one neighbour in the lift but do not know which flat is theirs. I'd like to learn the routine and thank whoever moved it. I can ask about one bag without turning it into a general complaint.
The bag handle is already weak, which makes wet weather more than a comfort issue. I want one dry corner left in the bag for the journey home. I have a plastic pouch for documents but nothing wide enough for the package.
The bathroom cabinet is the first place I plan to look for hidden damp. I have a short checklist, but it already contains more than fifteen minutes allows. The flat is affordable enough that I do not want excitement to replace inspection.
