I have allowed travel time. The unknown part is what happens at the desk. I can complete a form quickly if I know which details to bring. I have the appointment card, identification and a current medication list ready.
The app lists several bikes. Because of that, rejecting one would not leave me stranded. The last bike felt fine at the rack and developed a soft rear tyre on the first hill. I know how to squeeze a tyre. Still, I am less certain about checking an adjustable seat.
The shared entrance is small enough that an extra notice may become clutter too. I can ask about one bag without turning it into a general complaint. The collection day may be obvious to everyone except the newest resident.
The item comes in paper wrapping and still has a second stop before home. Waiting under cover would work unless the rain restarts near closing time. A little towel might be more useful than the extra layer I normally carry.
I would like to leave knowing one real weakness, not only what the agent points out. The flat is affordable enough that I do not want excitement to replace inspection. I can inspect in daylight, but the corridor may sound different with the door closed.
I am comfortable being new; I just want to follow the group’s normal routine. I can get there early if newcomers are paired before the first round. I can borrow basic gear, although I have to know whether that is expected.
