I'm in Toronto for a few weeks and viewing a short-stay flat tomorrow. The agent warned me that another viewing starts immediately after mine. Fresh paint can hide old leaks, and weak water pressure is the one problem I do not want to repeat. What would you check first in fifteen minutes?
I do not want the administrative part to use half of the booked consultation. A short answer from someone who has used the clinic would be more useful than guessing. Arriving early helps only if someone is there to process the form.
I carry no tools and do not want to fix someone else’s damaged chain. The app lists several bikes. Because of that, rejecting one would not leave me stranded. A brief wheel spin might reveal rubbing that is hard to notice while parked.
I have met one neighbour in the lift but do not know which flat is theirs. The caretaker is not always on site, and I have no building chat yet. The shared entrance is small enough that an extra notice may become clutter too.
I can keep my phone dry. The awkward part is protecting the thing I am collecting. I want one dry corner left in the bag for the trip home. The bag handle is already weak, which makes wet weather more than a comfort issue.
