I can ask someone else, but I would prefer to get there with the right information. I want the parcel, not a tour of every doorway on the block. The code message names one cabinet while the map points behind the building.
The group may become five, so walking in unannounced feels unfair. The conversation is informal, but it does need a corner away from the entrance. A large chain is the fallback, though a local place would be nicer if it can fit us.
I have the appointment card, identification and a current medication list ready. Arriving early helps only if someone is there to process the form. The confirmation message gives a time but says nothing about registration.
I carry no tools and do not want to fix someone else’s damaged chain. The last bike felt fine at the rack and developed a soft rear tyre on the first hill. The rental clock starts before I reach the first busy crossing.
The caretaker is not always on site, and I have no building chat yet. There is no readable notice beside the bins, only two different coloured lids. I want to learn the routine and thank whoever moved it.
I want one dry corner left in the bag for the trip home. Waiting under cover would work unless the rain restarts near closing time. A normal umbrella leaves both hands too crowded for the parcel.
