I'd like to learn the routine and thank whoever moved it. Someone has clearly tried to put the bag in the correct place for me. I have met one neighbour in the lift but do not know which flat is theirs.

A normal umbrella leaves both hands too busy for the parcel. A little towel might be more useful than the extra layer I normally carry. Waiting under cover would work unless the rain restarts near closing time.
